Our Project

Leveraging on the partner networks, as well as on the links to the national educational authorities and regional initiatives, MicroCASA has an ambition to have a systemic impact on the ASEAN region as a whole.

Our Objectives

We aim to contribute to further modernization and improving responsiveness of the system of Higher Education in Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines by building the capacities in local Universities to co-design and deliver short, competences-based and transparently-assessed courses leading to the issuance of digital micro-credentials, as well as by supporting their mutual recognition.

Identify effective local models for providing education and micro-credentials, while building capacity and fostering international collaboration with European professional communities

Share European best practices to build local capacity in codesigning and delivering efficient short educational units and engaging stakeholders to maximize the impact of micro-credentials

Develop and evaluate short digital competency units in socially significant domains to validate built capacity in an operational environment

Spread project excellence to regional stakeholders and create a local community of micro-credential practitioners linked to European communities for continuous capacity building and best practice exchange
