Shaping the Future of Microcredentials in the Philippines

On July 30, 2024, MICROCASA Philippine partners from Ateneo de Manila University met with the Ateneo School of Government (ASOG) to explore new collaborations in micro-credentialing. Discussions focused on sustaining digital learning platforms and expanding access to skills-based education.

Representing the Institute of Philippine Culture, Dr. Dennis Batangan, Dr. Marita Concepcion Castro Guevara, Mr. Jacob Carpio, and Mr. Christian Dasalla introduced the project’s role in bridging skills gaps for professionals and career shifters. They met with ASOG’s leadership, including Dean Dr. Philip Arnold Tuaño, Academic Program Head Javier Jimenez, and Executive Education Program Head Sharon Yabut, to align strategies for future implementation.

By strengthening partnerships and digital learning pathways, MICROCASA continues to drive innovation in education, ensuring learners gain relevant skills for an evolving workforce.
