MicroCASA Technical Workshop on the 2nd Day of the Consortium
On October 29, 2024, during the 2nd day of the MicroCASA Consortium at Ateneo de Manila University, Prof. Carlos Delgado Kloos of Universidad Carlos III de Madrid led the Technical Workshop with an in-depth analysis of the definition of micro-credentials. He emphasized the importance of establishing a standardized framework to ensure consistency and clarity in their adoption.
The discussions continue at The Hive, Arete, Ateneo De Manila University, driving collaboration on the future of digital credentials.
From Rome, Italy, Aniello Merone of Università Europea di Roma shared insights on how micro-credentials can reshape institutional governance, presenting four integration pathways.
Later, Dr. Achmad Husni Thamrin and Dr. Andrey Ferriyan from the School of Internet (SOI) Asia Project led a practical workshop on Inxignia, demonstrating its role in issuing verifiable digital badges and micro-credentials.
